Staff Bio

I have a solid background in teaching and instructional design and I am passionate about using technology to enhance educational experiences. I have six years of teaching experience and three years of practical experience as an Instructional Designer at the University of Johannesburg. During my time as an Instructional Designer at the University of Johannesburg, I was involved in the planning, training and development of initiatives that focused on the integration of technology into teaching and learning practices. My role was to foster a collaborative environment to enhance learning through synchronous, asynchronous, and face-to-face training methods.

My notable achievements include designing online modules and short learning programmes (SLPs) in the Learning Management System (LMS) as well as supporting and consulting on blended learning methods. I am adept at designing and implementing online courses, and know how to use digital tools to create an engaging learning environment. I am able to provide comprehensive support to staff and students and have experience facilitating training and advising on blended learning methods. As I want to make a positive impact, I am passionate about fostering a sense of community in education that drives collaboration and innovation.
