Active Connected Teaching Course

The Active Connected Teaching (ACT) course guides educators on how to easily and effectively navigate both in-classroom and on-line teaching with technology. The course takes educators on a journey from the "Education island" to our new "eEducation island". Educators learn about the two sides of the island – the Digital Zone and the Connected Zone and why it is critical that we learn to teach in the Connected Zone. Educators are provided with a bridge to help transition to effective, engaging, on-line and blended teaching. The course also provides links to an abundance of free tools that can be used to support Connected-era teaching & learning, allowing educators to chart their own course towards effective 21st-century teaching.
