Christinah Mulaudzi is a higher education professional with extensive experience in programme management, institutional capacity development, financial management, project governance, and monitoring and evaluation. She currently serves as the Programme Manager for the University Capacity Development Programme (UCDP), where she leads the implementation, monitoring, reporting and strategic coordination of Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET)-funded and Internationally funded capacity development initiatives aimed at strengthening teaching and learning, student success, academic staff development, and institutional transformation.

Since joining the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Teaching and Learning in 2015, Christinah has also served as Principal Accounting Officer, overseeing financial and governance processes that support the successful delivery of strategic institutional programmes. Her portfolio includes project management, grant administration, strategic planning, performance monitoring, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and institutional reporting. She has successfully managed and monitored financial portfolios exceeding R150 million annually, ensuring sound governance, regulatory compliance, accountability, and alignment with institutional and national priorities.

Christinah’s professional experience spans the higher education, consulting, accounting and real estate sectors, providing her with a multidisciplinary perspective on organisational development and programme implementation. She has supported numerous strategic initiatives involving  institutional change management, monitoring and evaluation systems, project performance improvement, and evidence-informed decision-making. Her work is underpinned by a strong commitment to strengthening institutional effectiveness through data-driven planning, continuous improvement, and collaborative leadership.

She holds a Master of Commerce (Management) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Stellenbosch University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (with Distinction) from UKZN, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Applied Accounting. She has further completed professional development programmes in Business Process Analysis, Digital Transformation, Advanced Project Management, and Programme Monitoring and Evaluation.

Her research and professional interests include monitoring and evaluation, strategic capacity development in higher education, student success, institutional effectiveness, leadership, financial sustainability, and evidence-based policy and programme development. She is passionate about designing and implementing initiatives that strengthen institutional performance, enhance student outcomes, and contribute to the transformation of higher education in South Africa.
